NON-DISCRIMINATION STATEMENT AND POLICY
Federal and State laws require Pope Properties/Cranberry Square Apartments (“Cranberry Square”) to not discriminate with regard to providing housing.
It is the policy of Cranberry Square to comply with all Federal and State laws. Cranberry Square is committed to providing an equal opportunity to housing. It is Cranberry Square’s policy to not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, gender, gender expression, gender identity, age (40 or above), national origin, ancestry, familial status, blindness, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its operations/ and or in providing services to the general public. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all persons.

If you have a disability and/or need to make a request for reasonable accommodation, please promptly notify management in writing regarding your disability and/or request for reasonable accommodation. Management will promptly evaluate the request for accommodation and, if necessary, will ensure execution of any accommodations.

Please be advised that management of Cranberry Square is responsible for making all final determinations related to housing. Cranberry Square reserves the right to deny housing for legitimate, non-discriminatory reasons, for example, for inability to meet the set threshold credit score.

SERVICE ANIMAL AND THERAPY/EMOTIONAL SUPPORT/ASSISTANCE ANIMAL POLICY
No qualified person will be denied housing or otherwise discouraged from obtaining housing at Cranberry Square because of a disability and the use of or need for a service animal or therapy/emotional support/assistance animal. It is the policy of Cranberry Square to comply with all Federal and State laws, inclusive of the reasonable accommodation obligations for service animals or therapy/emotional support/assistance animals.

Cranberry Square will provide the reasonable accommodation of allowing such animals on its premises and/or in residential rental units to all qualified applicants and residents who may need accommodation in order to be able to enjoy the benefits of housing. Cranberry Square’s “pet policy” does not apply to such situations. Breed, size, and weight limitations of the animal are not applied. Further, no additional costs or fees will be charged for said reasonable accommodation.

If a disability or disability-related need for a service animal or a therapy/emotional support/assistance animal is not readily apparent, Cranberry Square reserves the right to make limited inquiries in accordance with the law and, with regard to a therapy/emotional support/assistance animal, Cranberry Square reserves the right to require that additional documentation from a physician, psychiatrist, social worker, or other mental health professional be provided.
